Police build daycare center in Davao

THE DAVAO City Police Office’s Revitalized-Pulis sa Barangay (DCPO, R-PSB) inaugurated a new daycare center in Sitio Logue, Barangay Tagluno, Toril District on July 25.

The facility is expected to benefit around 50 children.

Capt. Kyerra Leen Torreon, representing acting city police director Col. Hansel Marantan, led the turnover ceremony.

The project was implemented in coordination with the barangay council headed by Punong Barangay Gil John Pombo, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and Highlands Banana Corp.

Aside from the new daycare center, the DCPO also distributed food packs to residents of the area with the support of the Davao City government.

“This is a testament to our commitment to serve and protect the community,” said Torreon. “By providing a safe and conducive learning environment for our children, we are investing in their future.”

The DCPO expressed gratitude to all partners and stakeholders for their support in making the project a reality.
