PNPA XI encourages youth to take the CAT 2024 examination

THE PHILIPPINE National Police Academy (PNPA) XI invited the youth to apply and take the Cadet Admission Test on Aug. 4 at the University of Mindanao campus. 

During the press conference on Friday, Aug.2, at the Davao City Police Office, 3rd Class Angelo Toledo from Digos City shared the benefits of being a PNPA cadet, including a full government scholarship grant for four years, a recipient of a BS in Public Safety Degree, exposure to training and availing premier educations, and an assured rank of police lieutenant upon graduation.

Xyrhyl Andria Katigbak from Catitipan, Barangay Communal said applicants must possess the following qualifications such as being a naturally born Filipino, being 18-22 years old born between May 2, 2002, and May 1, 2007. 

Male applicants must be at least 5’2 while female applicants must be at least 5 feet and at least a senior high school graduate upon admission.

Christian Jaiben Lloyd Alabado said the PNPA Cadet Admission Test covers mathematics, science, communication arts, general information and values, and abstract reasoning that must be answered for three hours.

Additionally, Errol Vonne Genovia of Davao City added that willing applicants who did not make the online application cut-off can still make it through a walk-in process at the UM Mindanao Matina Campus starting 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
