Pag-IBIG Fund’s road to 17.84-M active members

PAG-IBIG Fund aims to reach 17.84 million active members with 1.26 million additional members fund-wide as part of its commitments for the year 2025.

During the stakeholders report on March 14 at SMX, SM Lanang, Pag-IBIG Fund chief executive officer Marilene Acosta said 13% of the targeted 17.84 million will come from Mindanao, which accounts for 164,718 active members.

Last year, active membership level was at 16.58-M active members with 1.88-M from Mindanao, an increase of 4% compared to 2023. Active membership savings were at P132.81 billion with a 49% increase from 2023.

For 2025, Pag-IBIG Fund will target P154.71B total membership savings with 11% from Mindanao (P16.59-B) as well as 3,624,320 short-term loan borrowers (15% from Mindanao) with short-term loan amount to P95.32-B (11% from Mindanao).

Acosta added that housing units fund-wide will be at 111,648 with housing loan takeout at P156.86B. 

Additionally, the total assets for 2025 are at P1.18 trillion, which represents a 10% increase from 2024’s P1.06 trillion.

In 2024, under the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program (4PH), Pag-IBIG recorded a total P20.17B approved loans and 17,791. Other reports from the agency in the year 2024 include house units of 90,640 fund-wide, performing loans ratio at 93.72% fund-wide, and net income at P67.52B.
