IN A series of coordinated buy-bust operations over the weekend, the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) apprehended five individuals and confiscated illegal drugs with a street value exceeding P800,000.
Acting city director Col Hansen Marantan emphasized the DCPO’s unwavering commitment to combating the drug trade and ensuring the safety and security of the community.
He credited the successful operations to the invaluable information provided by vigilant citizens.
Within 24 hours, five police stations across the city conducted successful operations, resulting in the following:
- PS1-Sta. Ana: Confiscated shabu worth an estimated P16,388.
- PS2-San Pedro: Confiscated shabu worth an estimated P13,328.
- PS13-Mandug: Confiscated shabu worth an estimated P8,160.
- PS15-Ecoland: Confiscated shabu and marijuana leaves worth an estimated P755,236.
- PS16-Ma-a: Confiscated shabu worth an estimated P7,888.
Marantan vowed to continue the relentless operations to create a safer environment for all residents.
