MORE THAN P2 million worth of illegal drugs were seized by the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) during the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations from Aug. 21 to 31.
DCPO chief Colonel Alberto Lupaz said the 59 operations yielded remarkable results, including the seizure of 336.2175 grams of shabu and 1,110.4600 grams of marijuana, with an estimated street market value of P2,419,534.20.
Lupaz said they successfully apprehended 69 individuals involved in criminal activities.
“In our unwavering pursuit of justice, DCPO achieved a significant milestone in the campaign against Wanted Persons by apprehending 123 individuals with outstanding warrants,” he said.
He added that they also clamped down on illegal gambling operations by arresting 121 violators and confiscating P28,084 in bet money.
“Our dedication to ensuring a secure Davao City was evident in our campaign against Illegal Possession of Firearms, resulting in the arrest of three individuals and the confiscation of three firearms, along with two surrendered firearms and six captured firearms during 21 operations,” he further said.
“Let us continue working together, pushing the boundaries of excellence, to maintain peace and order and create a safer and more secure Davao City,” he said.
