- DCPO offers reward for suspects of Ilustre pawnshop robbery
THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) has offered a bounty to track down the five remaining perpetrators in the daylight heist on a pawnshop along Ilustre Street on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025.
The DCPO coordinated with the Police Regional Office XI to reward anyone who could provide credible information leading to the identification and location of the robbers.
With this, the DCPO urged the public to cooperate in bringing these criminals to justice and ensuring the safety of our community.
“Your immediate action can help solve this case and keep Davao City safe. We appreciate your support and vigilance in making our city a safer place for everyone,” the DCPO said in a statement.
On Wednesday, at around 10 a.m., three armed men barged into Hannah’s Pawnshop and took an undetermined amount of jewelry and valuables. However, police managed to arrest one suspect, a native of Albuera town in Leyte, in a hot pursuit. Authorities also recovered from the suspect various firearms and the loot said to be worth at least P40 million.
