THE MUNICIPALITY of Dangcagan, Bukidnon, was formally declared ‘Insurgency-Free’ through the 15th Sangguniang Bayan Resolution No. 289, Series of 2024, during a ceremony held at the Municipal Covered Court on Nov. 20.
Major General Allan D. Hambala, commander of the 10th Infantry (Agila) Division, lauded the collaborative efforts of the local government, security forces, and stakeholders in achieving the milestone.
Moreover, the achievement follows similar declarations in the municipalities of San Fernando, Kadingilan, and Damulog, showing Bukidnon’s continued progress toward lasting peace and development.
“The declaration of Dangcagan as insurgency-free is a testament to what we can achieve when communities, government agencies, and security forces work hand in hand. Following San Fernando, Kadingilan, and Damulog, this victory brings us closer to a Bukidnon free from the shadow of insurgency,” Hambala said.
