AN ALLEGED top city-level target from Valencia City, Bukidnon, was arrested in Calinan District on Tuesday afternoon.
Captain Hazel Tuazon, spokesperson for the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), identified the suspect as alias John, a 35-year-old cashier and transient resident of Purok 1, Barangay Subasta, Calinan.
According to Tuazon, the arrest took place at 1:10 p.m. on Oct. 15 when a joint tracker team, composed of personnel from the Calinan Police Station, the Regional Intelligence Unit XI, the 1105th Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion XI, and the Valencia City Police Station, successfully served a warrant of arrest for murder and frustrated murder.
The presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 46 in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, signed the warrant on July 8, 2024, and recommended no bail for the murder charge and P200,000 bail for the frustrated murder charge.
The suspect is currently detained at the Calinan Police Station.
