McCafé iced coffee just got its bolder brew: McDonald’s PH

Iced coffee-lovers are thrilled as McDonald’s Philippines launched its new and better McCafé Iced Coffee lineup, promising a bolder brew and creamier blend, all served up in their newly-designed yellow cups.

In a statement, Ashley Santillan-Delgado, McDonald’s PH marketing director for Channels, said prioritizing their customers’ wants is an important factor for them, especially when it comes to beverages.

“Our customers take their beverages seriously, and so do we. The new and better McCafé iced coffee is a result of months of development and research, delivering an expanded taste journey that everyone can enjoy,” Delgado said.

Delgado highlighted how they are keen to the customers’ flavor preferences.

“We made sure that, no matter where or when you want to have your drink, McDonald’s will have a yellow cup ready and waiting to lift up your day,” she added.

Karl Christian Chua, McDonald’s PH Taste and Menu marketing asst. product manager, said 93% of households in the country buy coffee every week.

“According to the Consumers’ Valuation of Local Specialty Coffee, eight out of ten Filipinos consume 2.5 cups of coffee a day, with 93% of households buying coffee every week,” Chua said.

Starting at P50, classic coffee fans can grab a McCafé Iced Coffee Original, while those going for a sweet treat can go with the McCafé Iced Coffee Vanilla or a McCafé Iced Coffee Chocolate.

At the same time, McCafé Coffee Float awaits everyone searching for creamy indulgence. For those who prefer a ‘no-fuss’ approach to their coffee, McDonald’s is happy to introduce the McCafé Iced Coffee Black to the lineup.

Each kind of coffee is available at any time and anywhere via Dine-In, Delivery, Drive-Thru and McDonald’s Fries & Dessert stations nationwide.

The welcome event was inaugurated at McDonald’s Matina Crossing on Aug. 14.
