VICE PRESIDENT Sara Duterte advised her nephews, Omar and Rigo Duterte, to perform their duties and make Davao City more livable for residents following their successful electoral campaigns.
Omar Duterte was elected as the 2nd District representative, while Rigo Duterte secured a councilor seat in the 1st District.
During an interview on Saturday, the vice president shared her experience as the former mayor of Davao City, emphasizing the importance of focusing on improving the lives of Davaoeños.
“We had a meeting a few days ago, and I told them that when I was mayor, our programs at City Hall revolved around the ‘Life is Here’ campaign, which also served as our tourism branding,” she stated.
“I told them that they are there to make the lives of Davaoeños better. All we want is a liveable city, and that’s not difficult because a liveable city already has parameters. We just need to fit Davao City into those parameters.”
She stressed that creating a liveable city is an achievable goal, as established parameters already exist.
