THE LAND Transportation Office XI (LTO XI) distributed 71,000 driver’s licenses to Davao Region residents, making significant progress in clearing the 130,000 backlog.
LTO XI regional director Eleanor Calderon provided this update during a Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas event on Tuesday, June 4.
“We’re actively addressing the backlog,” Calderon said. “With 31,000 licenses still incoming, we aim to have zero backlogs by the end of June,” she said.
Meanwhile, LTO XI encourages all license holders to pick up their cards from their offices to ensure they have valid identification for driving.
