Homegrown supermarket operator New City Commercial Center (NCCC) has intensified its grocery delivery services to consumers’ houses to provide convenience and safety amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through an announcement on their Facebook page last March 31, the company told its consumers that it would take calls from people who need to purchase goods and have them delivered on their houses.
Thea Septann Padua, NCCC public relations manager, said the service existed before “the community quarantine and will continue even after the community quarantine.”
Padua said at present there are three drivers who are conducting deliveries for a target of 50 consumers per day and the company is planning on adding more.
For consumers to avail of the service, each accumulated purchase must be not below P1,500 with a delivery fee of P100 for a maximum of six bags, while additional charges apply for excess order based on the determination of the company. Consumers will be paying through a cash-on-delivery payment method.
Consumers may call the following numbers for their orders on 9:00 am-12:00 pm which will be delivered on the same day, and 12:00 pm-4:00 pm which will be delivered the next day:
