A WOMAN died after she jumped off from the window of Room 403, 4th Aikiko House located along Anda Street, Barangay 3-A, at 10:31 p.m. on Monday, March 4.
Captain Hazel Tuazon, spokesperson of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), identified her only as alias Inda, an alleged accomplice of Faizal Ampilani, the top 9 regional-level drug target.
According to the report, the suspects sold a sachet of shabu to a police poseur-buyer in exchange for money. However, when they were about to be arrested, Ampilani punched the policeman in his face, who lost consciousness.
The other arresting officers barged into the room and both suspects jumped out of the window.
Police seized 32.23 grams of shabu worth P219,164 and the P9,000 buy-bust money.
Both suspects were brought to the Southern Philippines Medical Center, but Inda was declared dead on arrival.
