A KOREAN national was arrested by the Tugbok police in his residence at Deca Homes, Barangay Tacunan, Tugbok District, Thursday afternoon.
According to the report, the police officers served the arrest warrant on Sang Young Gyu for alleged violation of the Social Security System (SSS) law.
Reportedly, the Korean failed to remit the SSS contributions of his employees.
The joint operation was conducted by Tugbok Police Station (PS 9) personnel and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB). The warrant was issued by Presiding Judge Mario Duaves, RTC 11, Branch 15, 11th Judicial Region dated Aug. 30, 2023.
The judge also recommended a P72,000 bail for his temporary freedom.
