THE KINGDOM of Jesus Christ legal counsel Israelito Torreon clarified that the P20 million reward offered by the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) is not intended to match the P10 million reward previously offered by the DILG for information leading to the whereabouts of the wanted pastor.
Instead, Torreon, the legal counsel of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, explained that the money is meant to smoke out the private individuals who reportedly donated the bounty on Quiboloy.
Torreon added that KOJC officials are simply interested in knowing the private individuals who donated the money so they can determine if these unidentified individuals have any grudges against Quiboloy.
In addition, KOJC officials are also seeking information about the alleged assassination team formed against Quiboloy.
Torreon also criticized DILG Sec. Benhur Abalos Jr.’s acceptance of the money from private individuals, saying it is illegal under Republic Act 6713 Sec. 7D.
