The fourth run of Samsung Solve for Tomorrow is now open in the Philippines, with nearly ₱2 million worth of prizes at stake—including cutting-edge devices and cash. But the real reward here is the chance to actually do something about real-world problems, using the skills you’re already learning in school.

Who can join?

Grade 8 to 10 students enrolled in a public science high school are eligible. Just gather up to four teammates, tap one teacher to be the adviser, and put together a STEM-based solution for a challenge in your own community.

All proposals should fall under one of three themes:

Environmental Sustainability through Technology — Find ways to turn waste into something useful, or use STEM to recycle, reuse, and protect natural resources.

Social Change through Tech and Sport — Use technology and sports to improve education, support small businesses, or bring people together.

Solving Community Problems with AI — Build practical AI tools that address real issues in your locality.

What’s in it for you and your school?

The grand prize package is worth ₱730,000: ₱400,000 in Samsung devices for your school, ₱200,000 in gadgets for your team and teacher, ₱100,000 cash for the students, and ₱30,000 cash for your adviser.

Meanwhile, the second place takes home ₱595,000 in total value, while the third place gets ₱440,000.

Even teams that land in 4th to 10th place won’t go home empty-handed, as those who make it to the shortlist receive ₱15,000 cash, and their teachers get ₱5,000.

How to submit

Prepare your proposal in Word (up to 3,000 words) or PowerPoint (up to 6 slides), save it as a PDF (max 40 MB), and submit it through the official Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Philippines website.

The deadline is Nov. 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.—so don’t sit on that idea too long.
