A JOINT anti-drug operation in Carmen, Davao del Norte, resulted in the arrest of three suspected high-value drug personalities and the seizure of approximately 59 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱531,000.
The buy-bust took place around 7:15 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025, in Purok 1, Barangay Cebulano, Carmen.
The operation was conducted by the Davao del Norte Provincial Office of PDEA XI, the Davao del Norte Police Provincial Mobile Force Company, and the Carmen Municipal Police Station.
The suspects, identified as alias Palang, alias Rean, and alias Jenifer, were apprehended after selling a medium-sized heat-sealed sachet of suspected shabu worth ₱9,000 to an undercover agent.
Authorities recovered an additional thirteen heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱522,000, along with various drug paraphernalia and the marked buy-bust money.
The arrested individuals will face charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
