A GOVERNMENT employee and two others were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by joint forces of PDEA XI, Davao del Sur Police Provincial Office, 1104th Regional Mobile Force Battalion, and Digos City Police Station.
The operation took place on June 3, at around 9:48 p.m. in Purok Laminusa, Barangay Cogon, Digos City.
PDEA XI spokesperson Nephi Noli Dimaandal identified him as Alfahad Idiana Mahamod, 34, a job order personnel at the Digos City government. He allegedly managed the drug den, the subject of the operation.
He was apprehended by a PDEA agent posing as a buyer after selling one gram of suspected shabu for P10,000.
Two additional individuals were arrested during the operation identified by Dimaandal as Hadsmina Sahiron, identified as Mahamod’s drug den employee, and Anjelou Librando, a visitor.
Authorities seized five additional sachets containing suspected shabu (total weight: approximately 13 grams, estimated value of P 88,400), empty plastic sachets with shabu residue, various drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
All three individuals are facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165( Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
