In celebration of its 15th year anniversary, Go Negosyo is holding a special leg of Mentor ME On Wheels (MMOW) specifically catering to women micro, small and aspiring entrepreneurs. More than 100 women industry leaders and icons are gathering to offer free mentorship advice and business tips to more than 1,500 anticipated attendees. MMOW WOMEN is set to happen on February 28, 10 am at SM Megamall, in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry.

Elena Construction and Development Corporation), Rosalind Wee (W Group of Companies), Emma Imperial (Imperial Homes), Myrna Yao (Richprime Global Inc.), Olivia Aw (Destileria Limtuaco & Co., Inc.), Sherill Quintana (Philippine Franchise Association & Orsypa), Mica F. “Go Negosyo has been an active supporter of women entrepreneurs for 15 years now. We believe that supporting Filipina entrepreneurs with the right access to mentorship, money, and market is key to achieve inclusive prosperity,” said Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship and Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion.

MMOW is a FREE 1-on-1 nationwide mentorship session for aspiring and existing entrepreneurs. This mentorship event focuses on four entrepreneurial topics, namely: (a) Mind-setting and Marketing, (b) Access to Markets, (c) Financial Assistance, and (d) Accounting & Taxation.

Entrepreneurial mind-setting introduces MSEs to the core foundational values that a good entrepreneur must possess. Marketing bears crash courses on marketing strategies and branding, among others, to help MSEs build a competitive advantage in business.

Access to markets allows entrepreneurs to explore different channels, such as brick and mortar systems (physical store) and digital platforms (e-commerce), which can enable them to reach a broader range of audiences.

Financial assistance informs mentees of the available financial resources and benefits of managing an investment portfolio and applying for a business loan. Finally, accounting and taxation provide the fundamentals of financial statements as well as tax concepts and principles relevant to the identified business.

MMOW WOMEN will also be launched in connection with Go Negosyo’s upcoming WOMEN 2020 Entrepreneurship Summit: Perspectives of a Global Woman of Impact. WOMEN 2020 is anticipated to be the biggest and most inclusive women negosyo summit of the year, gathering the most distinguished women personalities from around the country and the ASEAN to tackle women empowerment through entrepreneurship. It will be held on March 3 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.

Interested participants for MMOW WOMEN can register for free at www.tinyurl.com/GOWOMEN2020. The first 200 pre-registrants to arrive will also get a Go Negosyo book, Eight Simple Secrets to Raising Entrepreneurs, for FREE!
