A FORMER member of the communist New People’s Army (NPA) was arrested Sunday afternoon in Purok Magic Place, Barangay Malabog, Paquibato District.
Paquibato Police Station officers served the arrest warrant for two counts of murder on alias Sarina, 45, a farmer.
The warrant was issued by Judge Mario C. Duaves of the Regional Trial Court Branch 15, with no bail recommended.
The charges stemmed from criminal cases R-DVO-18-00395 and 00396-CR filed in February 2018.
Captain Hazel Tuazon, the spokesperson of Davao City Police Office, has yet to give the specifics of the murder allegations that were not available as of this writing. Meanwhile, Sarina is detained at the Paquibato Police Station while awaiting further legal proceedings.
