Vice President Sara Duterte has urged the public not to be swayed by the noise of politics, particularly regarding talks of an impeachment case against her.
“Discussions about impeachment are always happening in the House of Representatives, and we hear about it from our friends there,” she said.
VP Sara said this is expected because “politics is heated right now in our country.”
However, she emphasized the need to focus on the nation’s real problems.
“I reiterate, I hope our countrymen will not be carried away by the noise of politics. Instead, let’s focus on the real problems of our country,” she said, “pero inuulit ko sana nga ay hindi madala ang ating mga Kababayan sa ingay ng pulitika kundi dapat tutukan talaga natin Yung totoong problema ng ating bayan,” she said.
She identified the high cost of food and the growing segment of the population experiencing poverty as the most pressing concerns.
