A regional-level target was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by authorities in Purok 14, Brgy. Tibungco, Davao City, on March 6.
Captain Hazel Tuazon, spokesperson of Davao City Police Office (DCPO) only identified him as alias Al, 37 married, and a fisherman residing in the area.
According to Tuazon, during the operation, the team confiscated about 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000, along with a Colt Caliber .45 Pistol.
She said this incident demonstrates the collaborative efforts of the police force in creating a secure and safe environment within the city.
“With the active support of the community providing information to identify individuals involved in the illegal drug trade, we can make a significant impact by bringing these individuals to justice and protecting the lives of many, especially innocent children,” she further said.
