A MASSIVE fire engulfed an estimated 200 houses in Pag-asa, Bankerohan, Barangay 5-A, on Friday morning, Aug. 23.
According to Captain Hazel Tuazon, the spokesperson of the Davao City Police Office, the incident was first reported around 8:15 a.m., with Barangay Captain Mata and purok leader Kirk Tabigue witnessing the flames from the houses of Alameda Jutoy and Annabel Cadollo.
Firefighters from the C.B. Bangoy Sr. Fire Station swiftly responded and brought the fire under control around 9 a.m.
Fire Investigator FO1 Eunelle Jun Mabale is investigating to determine the cause and cost of the damage.
Meanwhile, no injuries have been reported at this time.
