A FIRE broke out in Purok 4 Jasper Street, Doña Salud Subdivision, Barangay Sasa, around 12:30 p.m. on Monday, June 24, causing an estimated P1.8 million in damage.
The fire razed two houses and displaced five families, according to Fire Inspector Frances Mae Sendrijas, spokesperson of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) XI.
Firefighters responded promptly and were able to extinguish the blaze around 2:40 p.m.
She said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
