FIRE gutted six rooms in a school building at Sitio Soriano Korbada 1, SVD Building, Catalunan Grande, at approximately 11:11 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
According to Fire Senior Inspector Frances Mae Sendrijas, spokesperson for the Bureau of Fire Protection XI, the affected building is a seminary building belonging to SVD Worldwide Mission.
Firefighters arrived promptly and extinguished the blaze by 12:16 pm.
An investigation determined that the fire originated from electrical ignition caused by arcing.
The estimated property cost reached ₱300,000.
