A BUSINESSMAN was arrested for reckless driving after “drifting” a rented car in Barangay Mahayag, Bunawan District, around 9:40 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16.
Captain Hazel Tuazon, spokesperson of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), identified him as Siradj Untong Pinguianman, 28, a resident of Pansacala Street, Rosary Heights, Cotabato City.
The DCPO report revealed that elements of the Bunawan and Ma-a police stations arrested the suspect during a hot-pursuit operation.

He was flagged by a joint checkpoint in Barangay Mahayag and brought into police custody.
In a Facebook post, Pinguianman owned up to his mistake, writing, “In connection with that incident, I sincerely apologize and promise not to commit the same incident.”
“The truth is, im not reckless driver, but its my big mistake doing drifting in a busy road. But I got my lesson and promit not to commit the same mistake again…” he added.
Meanwhile, the police are preparing the appropriate charge against the suspect.
