Expo showcases world-class Indonesian products 

ABOUT 20 exhibitors, composed mostly of small and medium Indonesian enterprises, showcased their products at the Indonesia Solo Expo 2024, which opened Thursday, June 6, at the activity area of Ayala Abreeza Mall. 

The four-day expo, organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Davao City, endeavors to strengthen the friendship and economic cooperation between the Republic of Indonesia and the Republic of The Philippines.

“After a long break caused by the pandemic, it has become our greatest desire to bring back our annual expo and further promote Indonesian products, as well as our culture, to Mindanao by way of Davao City,” said Indonesian Consul General Agus Trenggono.

Apart from product exhibitions, the expo also serves as an important platform for business-matching and cultural exchange. 

“Our fervent hope with this expo is to bring Indonesia closer to the heart of Mindanao, where they can enjoy, witness, and experience Indonesia up close,” Trenggono added.

The new consul general also expressed his commitment to continue and enhance the various programs, such as the expo, and other activities his office has successfully implemented.  

Additionally, the Indonesia Solo Expo 2024 commemorates the 75th anniversary of bilateral relations between Indonesia and the Philippines.
