THE PERFORMA Creatives Event Co. will conduct a singing workshop with “Tawag ng Tanghalan” singers from Apr 27 to 28.
At the PEP Talks in SM Lanang, Hazel Soberano of Performa Creative Event Co. announced the first upcoming performance singing workshop for 13-year-olds and the young-at-heart who want to hone their craft.
The workshop will invite four mentors and five guest performers from “Tawag ng Tanghalan,” as well as a grand champion of MinPop 2020, grand winner of the Voice Teens Season 1, and from VisPop Kanta Kasingkasing.
The mentors to be invited are JR Oclarit, Chrisel Dela Cruz, Charlotte Rupinta, and Dexter Dapitan. The guest performers are Jona Soquite, RJ Divinagracia, Ken Sarip, Mau Ria, and J Florence.
The two-day intensive activity will run from 8 am to 5 pm with a recital at 1 pm on the second day of the workshop. During the recital, participants will perform their piece, which will be critiqued by the invited mentors.
The four mentor singers will teach the participants how to focus on vocal techniques and development and enhance their skills.
Soberano added the workshop will also help boost the confidence of singers so they can perform in public and carve their name in the music industry.
“Marami kasi akong nakikita na they have talaga a talent in singing pero nahihiya sila. Wala silang confidence na ishow to the public or even to join a competition,” she said.
The workshop fee will cost P4,000 and the venue for the workshop will be announced on their official Facebook page. Soberano said they would limit the number of participants to 30.
