THE EASTERN Mindanao Command (EastMinCom) conducted a Mental Health Awareness Workshop for its Civilian Human Resources (CivHRs) at the Naval Station Felix Apolinario, Panacan, Davao City on May 8, 2025.
The initiative saw active participation from CivHR personnel stationed at EastMinCom headquarters and Camp Panacan Hospital, demonstrating a unified commitment to organizational development and employee well-being.
The workshop was specifically designed to enhance the mental well-being of the CivHRs, who provide essential administrative support to EastMinCom’s military personnel.
By focusing on mental health, the command aims to empower its civilian staff to continue their vital contributions effectively.
EastMinCom chief Lt Gen Rex Luis Bergante said the activity underscored EastMinCom’s broader emphasis on protecting the holistic well-being of all Armed Forces of the Philippines personnel and CivHRs, encompassing their mental, physical, psychosocial, behavioral, and social health.
Bergante said the command recognizes that a healthy and supported civilian workforce is integral to its overall operational effectiveness and success.
