THE EASTERN Mindanao Command (EastMinCom) hosted a comprehensive cybersecurity awareness seminar for its personnel on May 2 at the Naval Station Felix Apolinario, Panacan, Davao City.
The Office of the Assistant Chief of Unified Command Staff for Communications, Electronics, and Information Systems, under the leadership of Col. Rosa Ma. Cristina Rosete-Manuel, facilitated the seminar to equip personnel with essential cybersecurity knowledge.
Participants learned the fundamentals of cyberspace, identified potential cyber threats, and the best practices to protect EastMinCom’s digital assets.
During her closing remarks, Rosete-Manuel emphasized the need for cybersecurity awareness to ensure mission readiness and overall operational success.
“These skills will not only benefit Eastern Mindanao Command’s operations but also our personnel individually,” Col. Rosete-Manuel stated. “Let us continue to prioritize cybersecurity and actively promote a culture of awareness and vigilance within our ranks. By working together, we can effectively protect our digital assets and ultimately support the successful execution of our mission.”
