Drug test fail

A BUS and a van driver tested positive in a random drug test conducted at the Davao City Overland Transport Terminal and a commuter terminal as part of the Oplan Harabas 2024 campaign 

Yuri Lim, head of the Regional Law Enforcement Section of the LTO XI, the two drivers were part of a group of 50 individuals who underwent drug testing on Dec. 19, 2024.

However, both drivers will undergo another test at the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency XI (PDEA XI) headquarters to confirm the results. 

The LTO XI continues to monitor the situation to ensure the safety of passengers.

The PDEA XI worked with DCOTT, Land Transportation Office XI, and Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) XI for Oplan Harabas.

The activity is in line with the implementation of RA 10586 or Anti-Drunk and Drugged Driving Act of 2013.
