A 57-YEAR-OLD driver was arrested after brandishing a gun and causing fear to residents of Sitio Soriano, Barangay Catalunan Grande, around 3:10 p.m. on Sunday, April 28.
Captain Hazel Tuazon, the spokesperson of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), identified him as alias Delfin, a resident of Sitio Escuela, Barangay Catalunan Grande.
According to the report, a concerned citizen reported to PCpl Pastoral, on duty at Catalunan Grande Compact, regarding a man carrying a firearm in the area.
PCpl Pastoral, along with police auxiliary units, responded and apprehended the suspect.
Recovered from his control and possession included one .38 caliber revolver bearing serial no. 062634 loaded with four bullets, along with another two bullets from a .357 Magnum revolver, placed inside his sling bag.
Further, upon verification, the suspect failed to present a license for the firearm.
