THE DAVAO Travel Agencies Association, Inc. (DTAA) announced that discounted airfares on domestic and international flights, cruises, and various tour packages await travelers during the Davao Mega Travel Sale.
This year’s Davao Mega Travel Sale, with the theme “Discover the Magic of Travel,” will be on Feb. 21-23 at Ayala Malls Abreeza.
On Wednesday’s Habi at Kape Forum, DTAA president Gian Caguiat said the biggest travel sale in Mindanao will feature more than 40 exhibitors from cruise lines, hotels and resorts, and travel agencies.
“We are very excited that finally we can sell all destinations and we can offer the seven continents in this event,” Caguiat said.
He stressed that the Antarctica tour, river cruises in Europe, Sa Pa in Vietnam, and Galapagos Islands in Ecuador are the newest additions to the available packages.
“Our job as travel agents is to find the best routes, best fares for our passengers, para hindi masyadong lugi, atleast we can provide guidance,” Caguiat said.
Participants will also offer discounted outbound domestic and international routes departing between March and December 2025.
For domestic, available routes will be Cebu, Tagbilaran, Puerto Princesa, and Manila while for international routes, there will be Hongkong, Singapore, Bangkok, and Doha with Scoot, Cebu Pacific, and Qatar Airways.
The participating cruise lines include North Star International Travel, Inc.; Princess Cruises; and Royal Caribbean Cruises.
Travel agencies such as Angelgarnet Travel; Aries Travel and Tours; Borderline Travel and Tours; Century Express Philippines; CES Travel and Tours; Frontier Travel, GMC Travelmakers; Good Fortune Travel; MD Tan Travel; PAR Travel and Tours; Skytrails and Travel; and Vitor Travel and Tours will be offering discounted package rates.
Organizers target P20 million in revenue generated, surpassing the P18 million revenue in 2024, for this year’s Davao Mega Travel Sale.
