THE DEPARTMENT of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) sounded alarm over the proliferation of illegal raw lots through online markets and social media.
Atty. Darryl June Tape, DHSUD representative, said each seller must comply with the complete requirements before they are authorized to sell.
“Ang pinakauna gyud tanawon sa mga potential buyers kay ang licensed to sell. Under the PD 957, before pa ma-authorize mamaligya ang owner, developer, or dealer, dapat ang project naa’y licensed to sell,” Tape said.
Some of the requirements included the approved certificate of registration prior to the license to sell and the policy development permit.
“Dili automatic na kanang gina-post dira (online) tinuod na. Because of the advent of AI, posible gyud na pikion lang ang licensed to sell,” he added.
Engr. Ivan Cortez, City Planning and Development Office head, also urged Davaoeños to be wary of illegal sellers.
“Even licensed to sell nagabutang sila maski dili tinuod, nagabutang sad sila nga accredited realtor para mupalit gyud ka, akoang advice is magcheck gyud ta’g tarong,” Cortez said.
The city recently enforced the Zoning Ordinance, which evaluates “whether specific geographic zones are acceptable for residential or commercial purposes.”
“Hulat-hulat rata, kay daghan man programa ang gobyerno bahin sa housing, ang DHSUD naa siya’y mga programa, naa pu’y umaabot na programa si President Marcos na six-million houses in six years,” he added.
