DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) acting director Col. Hansel Marantan announced that they secured the top spot in the Unit Performance Ratings (UPER) for August 2024, surpassing all other units in the region.
DCPO spokesperson Captain Hazel Tuazon explained that the ratings were based on accomplishments in operations, and administrative functions of various offices, including intelligence, investigation, operations, and police-community relations (PCR) performance.
Marantan extended his sincere congratulations to the dedicated police officers who work tirelessly to maintain peace and security in the city.
“Their hard work and sacrifices have paid off, as reflected in this remarkable achievement,” he said.
Marantan also emphasized the crucial role of community support in achieving this milestone.
“This success highlights the importance of collective effort, reminding everyone that maintaining peace and order is a shared responsibility that involves every member of the community,” he added.
