DCPO personnel granted rest after KOJC Operation

AROUND 200 Davao City Police Office (DCPO) personnel have been given a one-week rest period following their deployment at the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound for over two weeks.

“Our regional director [PRO XI director Brig Gen Nicolas Torre III] has granted them a week of rest after the KOJC operation,” stated DCPO spokesperson Captain Hazel Tuazon. When asked if the personnel underwent debriefing, she replied, “For now, there is none.”

Tuazon added that despite the rest period, “DCPO personnel will still manage to work.”

Earlier, the DCPO deployed 250 personnel from the City Mobile Force Company, various police stations, and the Civil Disturbance Management (CDM) team to the KOJC compound. These officers were assigned two-hour shifts in the area before returning to their respective stations.

“We are ensuring that the DCPO’s programs and accomplishments in other operations continue despite the KOJC operation,” Tuazon emphasized.

Davao City Police Office director Col. Hansel Marantan has directed efforts to maintain public safety and security throughout the operation.
