SECURITY forces maintained strict vigilance at designated testing centers in Davao City as the 2026 Bar Examinations started on Sunday, Sept. 6.

To ensure the safety of examinees, proctors, and court personnel, Davao City Police Office (DCPO) chief PCOL Peter Madria conducted on-the-spot security inspections of the examination venues.

DCPO operations chief PLTCOL Mark F. Balbuena and Police Station 3 (Talomo) commander PMAJ Sheryl Y. Bautista also joined Madria.

The command team inspected police beats, traffic control points, and inner-perimeter security setups at the Ateneo de Davao University Senior High School campus in Barangay Bangkal—one of the primary local testing centers designated by the Supreme Court in Mindanao.

DCPO deployed specialized personnel, traffic enforcers, and explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) units to manage crowd control, prevent vehicular bottlenecks along the MacArthur Highway corridor, and secure entry points.

Madria emphasized that command-level inspections aim to ensure field personnel maintain high operational readiness and strict discipline throughout the multi-day national licensure exams.

DCPO reaffirmed that heightened police presence and area monitoring will remain in effect around the testing venues for the duration of the 2026 Bar Examinations.
