THE DAVAO City Police Office (DCPO) has intensified its efforts to combat crime and illegal activities within the city, resulting in the arrest of 107 individuals during weeklong operations.

For instance, he said 41 drug personalities were arrested, with 191.13 grams of shabu (worth Php 1,297,576.00) and 451.419 grams of marijuana (worth Php 54,170.28) seized in anti-illegal drug operations.
In anti-illegal gambling operations, 14 gamblers were arrested, with Php 2,609 in bet money confiscated, and five cases filed.
During manhunt operations, 42 wanted persons were apprehended, including seven individuals listed as most wanted.
Additionally, seven individuals were arrested, seven firearms were confiscated, and one Oplan Katok was conducted, leading to seven cases filed following the series of anti-illegal firearms operations.
In total, the DCPO arrested 104 individuals during this period.
Marantan emphasized the importance of adhering to police operational procedures, upholding the rule of law, and respecting human rights. He also thanked the cooperation of barangay officials, the community, and the local government unit in achieving these positive results.
