DCPO director, personnel gave flowers to Davaoeños, elderly on Valentine’s Day

DAVAO City Police Office personnel, led by Col Hansel Marantan, passed around flowers to Davaoeños and the residents of Co Su Gian Center to celebrate Valentine’s Day on Friday.

According to Marantan, the initiative symbolizes the DCPO’s unwavering service and love for the community.

Officers distributed flowers to passersby, spreading Valentine’s Day cheer and fostering positive connections with the public.

Meanwhile, the visit to the Co Su Gian Center brought joy to the elderly residents, reinforcing the police force’s commitment to caring for all members of the community.

“Together, let us continue to promote unity, protection, and love for our city,” said Marantan.

Celebrate love through gift-giving

In the spirit of love and compassion, the Police Regional Office XI, under the stewardship of Brig Gen Leon Victor Rosete, handed out gifts to its personnel, particularly those battling serious illnesses.

The PRO XI collaborated with the OLCFI foundation to organize the activity at the Pulis Bagani Hall inside the headquarters in Buhangin on Friday, Feb. 14.

The regional director and his wife, Ms. Cherry Rose D. Rosete, the regional adviser of OLCFI,  accompanied by the PRO XI Command Group and the foundation members, distributed financial assistance and grocery packages. Among the recipients were five members of PRO XI—two PNP officers and three non-uniformed personnel (NUP).

“This gesture of generosity reminds us that love goes beyond words and is best expressed through meaningful actions that lift and inspire,” Rosete said.
