BUWAN NG Kalutong Pilipino Sarap ng Pagkaing Pilipino will highlight Davao Region’s vast culinary traditions and food treasures at Ayala Malls Abreeza on Apr 25 to 27, 2025.
Event organizer Rayanne Arao said this year’s event will be exhibiting more on forgotten products of Lutong Pilipino as well as recipes from the region that have been passed down for generations.

Arao shared that the event will include indigenous heirloom recipes that are as old as 50 years old with an invited presenter from the Bagobo-Klata tribe who will present how to make an authentic “Lullut” dish.
She is also seeking to invite the private sector and other hotels to spotlight Filipino food recipes in elevating the Lutong Pilipino spirit.
In celebration of Filipino Food Month, the annual event is spearheaded by the Department of Tourism XI (DOT) together with the Department of Agriculture XI (DA) and National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) with participants from the Tourism Educators Association of Davao City (TEADC), Philippine Women’s College of Davao (PWC), and City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO).
Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental, Davao de Oro, Davao del Sur, and Davao del Norte will participate in the event. Also, LGUs and partner schools will also teach urban gardening and conduct food demonstrations.
