CEB to operate Davao-Bangkok 3x-weekly flights

Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced the resumption of flights from Davao to Bangkok-Don Mueang, with direct flights operating three times per week.

In a statement, CEB President Xander Lao also mentioned the addition of more domestic routes from Davao, the largest city in Mindanao. “We are excited to restore international flights and operate additional domestic routes from our hub in Mindanao,” Lao stated.

Starting October 27, 2024, daily flights will be available from Davao to Caticlan and Puerto Princesa. Additionally, flights to and from Tacloban will commence on October 29, 2024, operating three times weekly.

To promote travel to these new destinations, the company is offering a seat sale until August 15. “Base fares start at as low as P1 one-way, exclusive of fees and charges. The travel period is from October 21, 2024, to March 31, 2025,” they added.

Currently, Cebu Pacific operates flights to 26 international and 35 domestic destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

According to the Department of Tourism XI, the Davao Region has seen a total of 19,112,040 international passengers, representing a 94% recovery compared to pre-pandemic 2019 levels. Domestic flights have also seen a strong recovery, with 36,433,138 passengers, reaching 99% of 2019 numbers.
