A CITIZEN Armed Force Geographical Unit (Cafgu) member and his companion surrendered to authorities after they jointly stabbed to death a 38-year-old laborer in Barangay Suawan, Marilog District around 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
Police identified them as militiaman Jonnel Senia Ubat, 26, and Jessie Senia Ubat, 30, a farmer.
Meanwhile, the other suspect Janjan Ubat, 24, a farmer, remains at large.
The three allegedly conspired to kill Allan Sumaliray Otto, 38, a laborer, and a resident of the said area.
According to the report, the victim and three suspects were drinking when the Cafgu member stabbed Otto. This prompted the others to gang up on the victim.
The Scene of the Crime Operatives recovered a 13-inch knife believed to be used in the incident.
The body of the victim was brought to Angel Funeral Homes, Calinan for an autopsy.
Meanwhile, the suspects are now in the custody of the Marilog Police Station while a case is also being prepared to be filed against them.
