Baste to city govt employees: continue giving your best to Davaoeños

MAYOR Sebastian Duterte told city government employees on Monday to offer Davaoeños their best by promoting accessibility to public services.

“You make it accessible para sa tanan, buot pasabot ana, mapa kinsa man ka, ma pobre ka, datu, tomboy, bayot, lalaki, babae, unsa pa na diha,” Duterte addressed the employees at the first flag raising ceremony of the year, Jan. 6.

He reminded the employees to make themselves available, especially those who seek any form of assistance.

Duterte added to let respect prevail in the government offices and observe fair treatment in their daily operations.

Aron ang tawo makahatag og salig sa atoa, kung mosalig ang tawo sa atoa, sila napud ang mohatag og depensa pag-abot sa panahon nga binuangan ta,” he added.

The mayor in his message also took a swipe at the national government, especially President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. who has been giving him a “hard time” since he assumed the post in 2022.

Gisiguro man pud nako nga bisan unsa nga grabe, unsa kabug-at ang binuhatan aning presidente nato, ningsukol man gyud mo, ug mosukol ta hangtud sa hangtud nga naa ta diri,” he stressed.

While he lauded the employees for their service, he said to prioritize their health and welfare and seek assistance from their superiors if the need arises.

Kung naa moy problema, doula ninyo inyong superior, mo-istorya mo sa inyong gibati, importante na,” Duterte added.

He stressed that with the economy still growing, there is a need to maintain the wellness of the employees to best serve the city.
