Aquila Softwares to launch healthcare application

THE AQUILA Software will launch the Clinix+ mobile application including a 6-1 Health Monitor device on August 8 for efficient and accessible health management for the people.

During the Kapehan sa Dabaw on July 15, Aquila Softwares CEO Paulo Rodriguez, highlighted that with the Clinix+ app people will be able to track their health in a timely manner and prevent emergency scenarios. He also acknowledged the problems such as the high cost of health care services and medical bills.

Rodriguez said the health monitor device costs P12,500 SRP and will measure a person’s blood pressure, glucose level, temperature, electrocardiogram (ECG), O2 level, and heart rate.

“We are still trying to lower the cost and definitely look for some partners para we can serve the mass,” Rodriguez said.

A subscription fee for the app will also cost P99 pesos per month for premium users who can upload 5 patient profiles. A 50% percent will also be given in their first rollout to cater to early users.

Aquila Softwares chief growth officer Christine Galvez said that the Clinix+ had already been tested by their known doctors and patients with plans for the application to be available in the Apple App Store and Google Play store on July 30.
