THE ECOLAND Police Station apprehended a suspected high-ranking drug personality in a Thursday night raid.
Under the supervision of Police Major Noel Villahermosa, officers executed a search warrant at 10:50 p.m. in Riverside, Phase 1, SIR New Matina, Barangay 76-A.
The suspect, identified by authorities as alias Marlon, was a 41-year-old painter and resident of the area.
Authorities found packages of suspected shabu, dried marijuana leaves, and a pistol during the search. The confiscated shabu had an estimated value of P66,028 while the marijuana was valued at P27,213.
Marlon faces a charge of violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and Republic Act 10591( Illegal Possession of Firearms).
