AirAsia Philippines kicks off ‘Ber Months’ with PISO Sale

MANILA – This giant airline seat which greets visitors at the AirAsia Philippines RedPoint Headquarters in NAIA Terminal 3 signals the onset of the ‘Ber months’ which normally is spent on reunions and staycations in the provinces or exploring ASEAN destinations.

The giant seat is also a message to AirAsia guests to brace themselves as bigger seat sales are about to come, starting off with this month’s PISO Sale which offers more than 300 thousand seats to all destinations.

Available until 8 September, guests can book their flights for only P1 one-way base fare for all domestic destinations – Bacolod, Cagayan De Oro, Caticlan (Boracay), Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Kalibo, Puerto Princesa, Roxas City, Tacloban, and Tagbilaran. Meanwhile, international destinations are also offered for as low as P511 for Macau to P1,811 for flights as far as Tokyo.  PISO Sale is available for future travels from February 17, 2025, until January 31, 2026.

“The Ber month signifies the beginning of the culmination of the year. While others have already booked their year-end holiday travels courtesy of our double-digit and seasonal sales, this month’s Piso Sale is perfect for guests who are already planning their long vacations next year. We encourage our guests to take advantage of the ongoing PISO Sale and plan their trips ahead as this will not only help them save money but will also allow them to maximize each schedule, giving them the opportunity to enjoy and create memories”, AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla shares.

AirAsia Philippines has already opened some domestic flights out of the Clark (to Boracay) and Cebu (to Boracay, Davao, and Puerto Princesa) hubs.

AirAsia is also advising guests to maximize baggage allowance when traveling. For guests who are planning to bring souvenirs from their trips, AirAsia’s baggage allowance can be upgraded to up to 60KG for maximum convenience. AirAsia Philippines is also reminding its guests of the strict implementation of its cabin baggage policy which limits hand carry bags to just two – one small bag or laptop bag and a luggage which must total to 7kg only. Guests are also advised to include baggage allowance in planning their trips. AirAsia offers the most flexible baggage allowance, up to 60kg available via airasia.com and the AirAsia MOVE app.
