VICE PRESIDENT Sara Duterte has confirmed that her name is among those possibly to be arrested by the International Criminal Court (ICC).
During a media interview in Cebu City, on April 27, 2025, she said, “I’m on the list. There are many of us on the ICC list, and I know this because when I arrived there, I was surprised that initially, I could visit every day, but then they stopped it. Afterward, they started recording our conversations with President Rodrigo Duterte.”
Aside from her, the names of senators Christopher Lawrence Go and Ronald Dela Rosa, former PNP chiefs Oscar Albayalde and General Vicente Danao, and General Romeo Caramat (previously Caraga police director) are also included.
“So, I understood that they were listening to our conversations because they thought we were discussing the case and what we’re doing about the case here in the Philippines, and our strategies for the case,” Duterte said.
“It’s not just me. My name is far down the list. The names ahead of mine are Senator Ronald Dela Rosa, former Chief PNP Oscar Albayalde, former police General Danao, and Caramat,’ she said.
“Bong Go’s name is also on the list,” she added. “They come first, before me.”
