- Search warrant allegedly yields P3-M in shabu
AUTHORITIES seized nearly P3 million worth of shabu during a search warrant operation inside a private residence in Purok 50, Sirba, S.I.R. Phase I, Barangay 76-A, at 4:31 p.m. on Sunday, April 13.
Captain Hazel Tuazon, spokesperson for the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), identified the arrested couple as alias Indat, 36, female, jobless, and alias Jeb-Jeb, 30, and jobless. Both were residents of the same address.
Personnel of the Ecoland Police Station Drug Enforcement Team, led by Lt Dennis V. Villa and under the supervision of Maj Butch Kevin P. Rapiz, the station commander, implemented the warrant for alleged violations of Republic Act 9165, Republic Act 10591, and Comelec Resolution 11067.
Law enforcers seized six rectangular sachets containing suspected shabu, one unit of .38 caliber revolver, three pieces of .38 caliber cartridges, and a black leather sling bag.
The seized suspected illegal drugs have a total estimated standard price of P 2,724,100, the police report said.
