A FIRE razed two houses in Malvar Street, Barangay 6-A, at approximately 2:22 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025.
The Davao City Fire District Station initially estimated the property damage to surpass P1 million.
Firefighters responded quickly to the scene and brought the blaze under control at 3:24 p.m. They declared a fire-out at 5:49 p.m.
Fortunately, Sr. Inspector Frances Mae Sendrijas, the spokesperson of Davao City Fire Station said no fatalities or injuries were reported from the one family affected.
Meanwhile, the Bureau of Fire Protection is currently investigating the cause.
