THE REGIONAL Joint Security Control Center (RJSCC) was officially activated at Camp Quintin M. Merecido, Catitipan, Buhangin on Jan, 9 in preparation for the 2025 National and Local Elections.
Major General Allan Hambala, commander of the 10th Infantry (Agila) Division, reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring security during the election period, as well as the safety of voters, election personnel, and other stakeholders.
The RJSCC is composed of the 10ID, the Police Regional Office (PRO XI), the Philippine Coast Guard District Southeastern Mindanao, the Philippine Information Agency (PIA XI), and the Commission on Elections (Comelec) XI.
The meeting provided a platform to address various agenda points to ensure the success and safety of the upcoming elections.
Discussions focused on security protocols, coordination mechanisms, and preventive measures to safeguard the integrity of the electoral process.
“The 10ID is directed to ensure full compliance with protocols and provide unwavering support for the enforcement of a peaceful, fair, and orderly election process,” Hambala said.
The reactivation of the RJSCC highlights the collective effort of military, law enforcement, and government agencies to address potential challenges and ensure a smooth electoral process in the Davao Region.
